Blackbird: The afro-centric web browser

Blackbird is a recently launched web browser specifically marketing to the African-American community.  I was completely unaware that Firefox was oppressing the black nation.  All this time I thought black people could freely explore the internet like everybody else.  Thanks Blackbird for showing me the light.  I bet when MLK Jr. made that whole speech about having his dream this is probably what he meant.  If you read through that speech the guy was so obviously talking about the internet.

According to a statement on the site, “Blackbird provides African Americans with easy access to advanced features and services, greater visibility and access to hard-to-find African-American online content and a platform for sharing their entire internet experience on the web.”

Hard to find?

Its the internet and this isn’t China.

Meanwhile its only available for windows users.   Now that’s discrimination.  What are they trying to say?!

I don’t even want to read into that metaphor.

Am I allowed to download this? Who do I ask to get permission. Also, don’t talk smack about China. I’m watchin’ you (glaring)

You have to send a formal letter and head shot to the NAACP but only the Connecticut branch since that’s the only division that seems to be officially supporting them.
